LeadLocal’s toolkit of “DO” exercises, were basically fun, but grounded, activities that help us actually tackle problems big and small by coming together and focusing on what needs to be done — then doing it. I felt that the LeadLocal activities were so accessible — so easy and intuitive — that they could be used at MSL (and beyond) as a model for how we process and tackle things that need to get done (again both big and small).

Design Thinking for Library Leadership is about learning by doing. You identify an adaptive leadership challenge (you or other libraries face), form a team, and tackle your challenge by establishing a framework for leading change by design.
